I like Tim Munching singing Fuck the Motherfucker, which is about the pope.

Hmmmmm.......not sure that is accurate. The pope most likely would leave the mother alone--would pick either the girl or boy child.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent,
Is he able but not willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able or willing?
Then why call him god?

I see I spelled it incorrectly, it's Minchin, I think.

That seems very strange to me, but I've heard that as most of us get older, we tend to "mellow-out" and become more liberal. I've also heard it said that most atheists and "SATANISTS" are liberals. Not me,the older I get, the more conservative I've become. With 2 kids and 4 grandkids, I worry every day about their futures. All of this insanity has to stop! My choices about my music will always clash with my families "tastes", but like I said in my first message, we have agreed to disagree. Listening to "black metal" makes me happy, which my wife and kids don't understand, but this music has literally saved my life. I am retired on permanent disability and depression is a real thing for me. I have been suicidal in the past and those kind of feelings never really go away. It is so bad that I can't be in the same room as a loaded gun any more. So I listen to "my" music on a daily basis, and it makes me smile. that's good enough for now.

Whatever gets on thru the night. If that music makes life livable, then listen to that music!

Consider this article that deals with growing older and being more conservative:

I have had to deal with family suicide and family attempted suicide. I know neuroses and hoarding well. But I have avoided a few other things. Your being liberal or conservative is a false dichotomy. Are you content or discontent? How does that sit with your mental health, or any substance abuse or family abuse? I am recently retired, and family is the only thing keeping me happy, work the prior 7 years was the only thing keeping me from going over the cliff. That and my cats and my hobbies and I can get up in the morning any time I feel like it (or my cats tell me to). For some people who are "work" centered or "people" centered, this is hard for them. Try as many new things as you can, and some will help you center yourself.

Don't do that.

Behemoth. Got my metal (kick drum=64th notes) fix this morning. The kid's choir was a nice touch. Not subtle, but ya know, most dogs are better than god.

If you are looking for "anti-religious" music, and like metal or love it like I do, then BEHEMOTH are a good place to start.

I started out fairly conservative in both political and emotional ways. As I've grown older, seen more and experienced more, I've become much more liberal and anti establishment. Much more anti religious, especially of the organized type. ALL organized religions end up being dangerous and evil. Typically, I was told, people start out more liberal, rebel for awhile and then become more religious and conservative in outlook. I'm doing that in an opposite manner.
That describes me. I was a Republican for no reason other than my family was, but I dropped that label when I started paying attention to politics. My family did not brainwash me with their political ideology. But I wrestled with uglyness of religion for years, because my religious training was as abusive as Jim Jones and his Jonestown cult, OK that's an exaggeration, kinda. I'm still drawn to the music of my late youth and that time when Eric Clapton and Led Zepplin came on the scene. And the short lived Folk era of Peter Paul and Mary was also a special part of my life. I like the softness and intimacy of small gatherings in coffee houses. I got into playing the guitar and singing, but then everything went "electric" and while I liked it, I never developed an interest in playing it. When the acoustic era came to an end, it was a great loss to me, but I don't think about it much anymore.

Loved/love PP&M! Got to see them live while in Hawaii--great show! I never sang nor played an instrument--well, a turn-table--but loved/love the music of that time--Steppenwolf, Eagles, We Five, etc, and hootenannies were growing strong while I was in grade/high school. Folk rock and hard rock I can listen to all day. With the exception of rap and opera, I like most music.

Dinner without grace
They're telling you lies
Privation within their rhymes
Don't wait for god's embrace
Let's have a dinner without grace
They're telling you lies
Deceit is in their mind
It's time that in God's face
We have a dinner without grace
