Correct, education in general, and geography in particular, are very poor in the US.  We only need to know where to get our Democrat welfare checks.

This seems to be worldwide though. I've traveled extensively and have been surprised at the level of ignorance of people about basic geographic facts and population statistics in their own backyards. I even had to explain to a self-described Monarchist in the UK why their royal coat of arms has French writing, and he still didn't believe me.

People in the US who want more money for education, usually highlight how poorly educated our young people are ;-))

I have to smile.  Being generally half Anglo-Saxon Briton, 1/4 French, and 1/4 Viking and a touch of Welsh, I sort of see all sides of England.  I know about the Norman French,  and their influences LOL!

Hard to believe.

Women are never happy, not even at their weddings in my experience.  Trying to please them is futile.  I saved myself a lot of frustration by stopping to try.
