Well, we've already established that your eyes are brown, being so full of shit, and all.

:-P

Haha ... that is an old Texan joke, and I am Texan.  Actually had hazel eyes, but alien shaped pupils, until cataract surgery, now they are grey alien eyes ...

My eyes are the same color as Chris Hayes's on MSNBC.  I just noticed that last night.  So someone please tell me what color that is.  I've never been sure.

What amazes me about Masada is that no one else than Josephus seems to have known about it at the time or shortly after.  The Roman Legions never mentioned it.

And yet, Flavius Silva's ramp still largely remains intact up the side of Masada.

We have no idea what they wrote.  We only know what survived.  In the aftermath of the Year of the 4 Emperors the Roman world had a lot more pressing issues than a small bunch of rebels in far off Judaea.  The empire was bankrupt, the capitol was nearly burned to the ground in the final battle and there were revolts or the aftermath of revolts to deal with in Germany, Gaul and Spain.

No one gave a flying fuck about Judaea.
The Christian church, in its attitude toward science, shows the mind of a more or less enlightened man of the Thirteenth Century. It no longer believes that the earth is flat, but it is still convinced that prayer can cure after medicine fails.

Good bio on Vespasian ...

But in the longer run, what happened (or alleged to have happened) in Judea, was the most important.  The Flavians have the Colosseum ... the Christians have 2 billion followers.

Islam   1.8 billion   24.1%
Secular/Nonreligious/Agnostic/Atheist   1.2 billion   16%
Hinduism   1.15 billion   15%

Was there some point to that?  This isn't a vote.

Competition is good.  Particularly when we used spears, arrows and swords ;-)  Rabbinic strategy ... "you and him go fight, we will sell tickets and concessions" ... which we learned at the Colosseum (built with stolen Jewish wealth).  Reparations, like Indian casinos, only for 2000 years so far.

Just the Onion.  The actual two nights might be far worse.  I will be laughing, will you?

I support Tulsi Gabbard ... just because SJW's heads would explode.
