The 99% aren't even alive, they are mental zombies.

That is why human behavior is irrational, because it isn't introspective, it is just emotions paved over with rationalizations.

A quote, regarding the abuse of economics by the monkey people ...

“NATIONS, LIKE INDIVIDUALS, CANNOT BECOME DESPERATE GAMBLERS WITH IMPUNITY. PUNISHMENT IS SURE TO OVERTAKE THEM SOONER OR LATER... MEN, IT HAS BEEN WELL SAID, THINK IN HERDS; IT WILL BE SEEN THAT THEY GO MAD IN HERDS, WHILE THEY ONLY RECOVER THEIR SENSES SLOWLY, ONE BY ONE.” CHARLES MACKAY,

Each serial abuser destroys himself one by one, unless caught up in the collective collapse of the same behavior writ large.

It comes down to values. If questioning conventional logic is one of your deeply held values, you never stop doing it and create a pattern of thinking critically when presented with new information and differing views.

For me, it comes from the fact that I don't trust society.

For me, it comes from the fact that I don't trust society.

Trust yourself?  Maybe.  Trust the wisdom of the crowd?  Maybe.  Why either/or?  The most general position must include both.  And while there is unhealthy criticism, healthy criticism of self and community, seems reasonable to me.  Hence the importance of free-thinking and free-speech, though pathological acting out ... is not what I mean by it.
