At this point, I'm just happy that people are reading at all.  I remember when I was really young, I didn't read anything all that amazing.  Mostly Hardy Boys, Doctor Dolittle, and Choose Your Own Adventure (I have not outgrown this at all, and yes, I've seen various online CYOA images and I love it).  It was really only in middle and high school that I cut my teeth on fantasy/scifi in addition to required reading, like Hatchet, Where the Red Fern Grows, and The Great Gatsby.  So people can read at their own pace and who knows, maybe they end up someplace different.

I looked up that particularly specific type of book on goodreads and there are 431 books.  That's not the complete list.  That's just a list created by someone who really likes those kinds of books.  431.  I've seen scifi sections at Barnes and Noble with less books than that.
