Incidentally, the discriminating article of clothing was not invented by the Nazis, but by Muslims in the Pact of Omar (https://wikiislam.net/wiki/The_Pact_of_Umar) where Christians and Jews had to wear a belt called zunnar as a signal that they were dhimmis.
