I don't eat it much being dirt poor, but upon occasion it is one of my favorite styles of food.
Sushi is excellent :) It has become one of my favorite "lets dine expensive tonight" options.
One of my favorite meals =D>
I like cooked food.. Raw fish? When I think of raw fish I picture my brother with his ex wife who also had the aroma a lot like raw fish and... OH THE HUMANITY!
I've learned to eat it and enjoy some of it.

My former sister-in-law? You poor bastard..
I absolutely loooooove sushi and sashimi. Mmm mmm good!
Great, nice to know I am not the only one.
Sushi and sashimi are fucking awesome.
Does anyone else get a bit pissed when people outright reject an opportunity to try sushi or sashimi because "eww, that's raw fish man!"?

No, people generally even if they have not tried a food have an idea of what it is going to taste like. It is not like fish isn't served other ways. But lets not get stuck on this particular food.
I really hate "you haven't tried it this way", well if I have had other forms of that food I do get tired of saying "yea I have tried it and no, I don't like it".
You like what you like, just like music. Just because you like something does not mean others will or should, it only means you like it.
I hate broccoli, other people like it, and neither would be wrong. I hate cooked carrots but don't mind them raw. It is a matter of taste.
Sushi, sashimi, miso soup, gyoza and sunomono are delicious . Shimeji tastes like dirt ...
I like food, sushi has become one of my favourites. I had to find a good Japanese restaurant when I moved to this city I'm in, it was one of my priorities.

I've seen this proven wrong too often to still believe it. I managed to get my girlfriend to try sushi (although she wasn't opposed to the raw fish, which is fairly common in the netherlands, but to the sea-weed) and I've personally also had a bunch of things that I would've opposed until I tried them (like spinach, which is awesome except if boiled in water, but I only found out after I tried it non-boiled).
I get annoyed by people who have never tried sushi but claim its gross and act as though I'm weird for enjoying it. If you've never tried and have no desire to, fine. But don't look down your nose at me simply because I have tried it and it and decided that I liked it.
I've tried it.. yuck.. and anyone who likes stuff I don't like need to be publicly flogged daily and twice on Sundays.
I mean fair is fair...right? :P

why dirty poor, there is nothing wrong with being poor.
Hmm i have tried sushi few times but it depends where you buy it.

Who flogs you? If I meet someone who honestly doesn't like it, I just figure that leaves more tuna for me. There are only so many tuna in the ocean after all.

Some examples...
Can't stand salmon by itself, love the salmon roll
Zucchini is gross to me, love the bread though
I won't eat raw onions, love them sautéed though
Even if you've tried something in the past, how something is prepared goes a LONG way.
I love sushi - unfortunately gout and a lot of sushi don't get along well. I can still eat all the California roll I want. And wasabi is healthy.

Brian as I said on your facebook page you'ld have to have me starving and sand paper my tongue to get me to eat that crap. LOL
I tried it. I don't dig it.

I've actually never been to a real sushi place, even though I live 200 feet from one. I get mine at the local supermarket. And I love it, however inauthentic. I'm a fan of the California roll, especially, but can't stand, for instance, eel.

You got it, just like the NRA members, "YOU CAN PRY MY SUSHI FROM MY COLD DEAD HANDS"

Right, like you'll ever get me to be a roadie at one of your concerts........FUCK..... Never mind.
Not me. I hate it.
That was extreme sarcasm.
Sushi's pretty good, but I really like sashimi. Especially when dipped in wasabi mixed with a little soy sauce.
Love it! Too bad it's so expensive
So the youtube tags don't work here? :-k http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0aGcH7S ... D0B5660427 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0aGcH7S7LQ&feature=share&list=PL84748BD0B5660427)
I need to work out bugs because of the sudden change... no worries
I love sushi...
as long as it's cooked. :-D
Seriously, I've tried it a few times and never cared much for it.
I ate at Genki's Sushi (one of the one's with the conveyor belt-style bar with assorted sushi and other food of that style coming around), where the plates were 2.00 to 4.50... I managed to rake up a $25 tab (on mostly $2.00 plates)... so yeah, I like Sushi :D.
I wish we had a good Sushi place here in Las Cruces... but being in the middle of the desert as opposed to the islands makes fresh fish much harder to come by.
Las Cruces. Yeah, that doesn't strike me as a place with good sushi. I have done a lot of work there so have spent quite a bit of time sampling the fare. Unbelievable tamales.
I love sushi. No surprise, since we had fish of one sort or another at least a few times a week when I was growing up. Unfortunately, I'm prone to gout, and tuna triggers it (so does salmon, to a lesser extent), so I'm limited in which sushi dishes I can eat.
I love sushi!
It's just kinda expensive... if I could afford it, I'd eat it everyday
Big fan of sushi. I really don't know anyone around where I live, Grand Blanc Michigan, who hates it, but I bet I could find a few if I tried. The whole "it has to be prepared raw" thing is a huge turnoff for people. I understand. I think we've all had food poisoning before (for me, it was actually a cruise ship's salmon that fucked me over and not the sushi at your given cheap buffet).
I love eating sushi and how it tastes.
I don't love that it takes me $40 worth of sushi to fill me up for a half hour and then I'm starving again.

I hate how pricy it is. Very healthy. Sad that a junk food meal is cheaper than food that is healthy for you.
It's easier to produce food so unnatural and terrible that even bacteria won't touch it.

In both areas in which I've lived, Chinese buffets that offer sushi (and most do) don't charge extra for it, so you can stuff yourself pretty reasonably. Not the best sushi there is, but some of them actually make some pretty good stuff.
Love it. I love seafood. :)
