Title: Commieblaster - Real or fake right-wing website?
Post by: Ace101 on July 28, 2015, 02:31:24 PM
I'm not even a left-wing Democrat, but this site is so stupid I have a hard time believing this site is for real. It's like Conservapedia but even stupider. I read it just to laugh at the headlines:

http://www.commieblaster.com/

This is the tagline for the website.

Proof Obama is a Communist, Marxist, Socialist, Maoist, Progressive, Islamic, Terrorist, Ineligible Imposter, Usurper.

Apparently Obama is both a "progressive" and an "Islamic Terrorist" at the same time. Who knew?

It also uses the National Inquirer as sources, and has stories like this:

Openly Gay Congressman, Jared Polis (D-NY) Teaching Your Kids How to Do Beer Bongs on TV.

Most Politicians would be Reaching for His Wallet. Not Congressman Barney Frank. He Likes Groping Young Guys' Butts.

It looks like it might be a satire, but if it's for real it looks like it was written by a 14 year old kid with a learning disability. It even uses Captain America as its logo:

I honestly can't tell between the parodies and the real thing anymore.  A lot of the right-wing talking points are so ridiculous that they do seem like the sort of thing you'd say in jest, but apparently a lot of people sincerely believe this drivel.

Parody?  I couldn't say.  Defunct as hell?  Definitely.

Unfortunately I think it is for real, because all the people that support it really believe that, and they sure aren't the brightest bulbs in the universe.  :wall:
