Okay - Hopefully this will work in creating a new thread... although I didn't see that terminology anywhere.
I'm crawling here folks, give me a day or two before I can walk.
Not sure what I'm allowed to tell you about myself, I guess I just keep it general.
So, I am a retired science/computer teacher - been retired since 2001. I live in the Bible Belt of Southeast US.
I'm into computers now and spend a lot of time doing various projects.
If any of you have some questions, feel free to ask.
Haha, it's pretty easy once you get used to it!
Welcome to the forum.
Thanks Wolf (can I call you that for short?).
I notice that you have a pic for your avatar.
I'll have to look into that and how to add my info.
Hi Rich, welcome to our peaceful, friendly forum also known as the snake pit! ;)
If you have any questions about the forum, please feel free to ask.

Look for profile up top -- hover your mouse over it and select the option "Forum Profile"
First option is to set your avatar

You're not obliged to add info to your profile, if you prefer to keep some anonymity.
Anyway, it's easy to add info or an avatar: go to "profile", "forum profile" and there you can add/change your info.
EDIT: Damn, Wolf ninja'd me!
Okay - I got some stuff up in my profile. I don't want to over do it until I get more comfortable here.
I have to sign out for now. I'll be back on later today or tonight to check things out some more.
Thanks for all the "welcomes" from you all.

I comiserate.
That could happen to the best of us, I guess.
How's life for an infidel â€" assuming you, a science teacher, are atheist â€" among the faithful down there?

Paxet bonum fratres!

I am not sure you could have used more condescending language if you tried. Good going!
I said naive in an endearing way which means it was a compliment. Your naivety can be endearing as it can be innocence. So I was in a sense is saying you seem innocent.

I'm a troll for giving somebody a compliment. Interesting!
We will enjoy each others company.

If you think that calling someone "naive" is a compliment, especially a person who tells us he's a science teacher, I'd say you're being disingenuous at best. How old are you, out of curiosity?
It was just my first impression of him that he was unaware of how online forums work and somewhat of a loner. Having a degree does not mean somebody is not naive in other areas. Everybody is naive in some ways.
was born in 85
Welcome ! Religion is bullshit.

CC, how often do you crap and fart?
Welcome to the forum
So CC you're 29 calling us old farts naive. Buddy, I could take you places they would roll your stupid ass, shoot you full of drugs and leave your carcass in a dumpster for the rats to eat. Of course you would pray the criminals would repent and save your dumb ass.. Good luck with that shit.
By the way Rich, you haven't posted nude photos of your gf.. This of course assumes you have an 18 yr old bimbo mistress.
I want to thank everyone for the hearty welcome. I tried doing a Quick Post last night, but I don't see it.
So, I guess I messed up somehow.
I would have retried but I was busy with my 29 yr old bimbo - oh wait, that was a dream.
Anyhow - glad to be here... I think.
(Not sure what CC is doing here? Must be one of those folks who likes abuse. Whatever.)
Oh, also, yes. I am an atheist. I call myself a 99.99% atheist. If I could prove there isn't a god,
then I would add the other 0.01%. As I get older, I'll probably make it 0.001%.
Welcome Rich!
Most of us admit to the possibility of a god. Just not one associated with the various religions of our little rock.

Waking up in the morning and discovering that you messed up or failed to submit your quick post is one of the things I was saying about you being naive about how to use discussion forums. But as I said it is in an endearin way not anything wrong
