Title: Asteroid Fly By Tonight on Space Camera

Asteroid fly by at 9:00 PM EDT.  This one is as big as a football field and can be watched 30 minutes from now on a special space camera located in the Canary Islands...at:

It will miss the Earth by a couple of million miles.  I just spotted this on the news.

It was disappointing.  A half hour devoted to two guys talking about asteroids, and some old views of a couple of other asteroids, but nothing to see in the fly by.  Maybe a different site would have offered more.  Oh well. :(

It really was a let down wasn't? I believe they did show it, but it was so small you could hardly see it go by. I'm glad it was boring and not coming straight at us and getting bigger.  :shock:  8-[  Solitary
