Title: Nostalgia overload!
Post by: nuclear on September 24, 2022, 01:06:26 AM

Oh man, I remember first watching Toy Story 1 on VHS when I still in diapers (back in 2001 or 2002, I think). I saw this commercial every time I watched this tape - though I didn't play the Genesis game until a few years ago.

It brings me back to a simpler time when I didn't have to struggle through the hardships of adult life.

Ah, childhood.

But you did have to struggle with the hardships of childhood.  Understand, there will never be a time (and there never was a time) in your life that does not include 'struggle' and hardships.  That's just the state of being human.

You'll reenter childhood when you're 70ish. It's fun again.

Oh, yeah!!! Good chance I'm in my 3rd or 4th childhood. :))  But I do think of this time of my life not as my Golden Years, but my final childhood; childhood is fun! :)
