Greetings to all. My moniker is Dantalion. I’m new here and I thought I’d introduce myself. I am male, 39 years old and I live in Utah. I am a Satanist and I just formed my own form of Satanism. It’s called Dantalic Satanism. I know it may sound cheesy but it was easy for me to come up with that name. Dantalion is a goetia demon. I am the only member of my religion and will always be the only member. Nobody else can join. This brand of Satanism is only for me. Here’s the jest of it.
Satan to me represents going against societies grain in ways that suit me. Satan is not a being but a representation of : Originality, rebellion, non conformity, resistance to manipulation and human instincts. It takes some things from the Church Of Satan like indulgence, the carnal self and self reliance and it takes things from the Satanic Temples 7 tenets. I believe that I am a human animal and I as the self am here to be a link in human society in an original and inventive way. I also believe in the use of demons in the form of stories to explain the universe. I am still forming these beliefs and I deduce that I will come to some conclusions shortly at this juncture in my life. My beliefs are also mutable because as a human animal, I learn and learning coincides with application of those lessons. As long as I adhere to Satan and all that Satan represents. I believe that Anton Laveys original epiphany that started the Church Of Satan is Devine inspiration from a convergence in the fabric of the universe that I will write a small thesis on using demonology to explain what it means to me. It will be in story form. Other than that, I’m in to all kinds of things. I’m kind of all over the place. I like Coke Zero, guitars and other stringed instruments, Guinea pigs, guns, flying my kite, making soap, writing things in my notebook, hanging out with my friends, listening to music etc. I’m in to 90s industrial, new wave, grunge, nu metal, guitar rock, etc. I’m also straight and single. I identify as male (him) and my view on pronouns is if you make an effort to look like a guy, I’ll call you him. If you make an effort to look like a woman, I’ll call you her. Anyways that’s pretty much all I’ve got for now. I like forums and the chit chat that goes along with them.

Can you help me out with something? I am new to forums and I don’t know hot to post a quote in the pink box or post videos. Can you possibly tell me how to do it or direct me to someplace where I can learn how to do it?

Not an expert by any means. Every post has a 'quote' box at the top right of each post. Click on that box and it will capture all that the post and allow you to use all of it or to edit the content. Then you can make your reply and post as you normally do. Hope that helped.
regarding video's, i usually just post the 'share link' straight from youtube, found underneath the clip there.

What you are looking for is bbcode. If you want to quote someone just hit the quote button at the top of their reply then start typing in the box after all the text. Other things are available as buttons at the top of the text box if you select the reply button at the bottom of the thread or the preview button below the quick reply box.
Some examples are: (Have to remove the space before the last bracket)

[url]url link[/url ] to insert a link

I appreciate the intro, but I don't see that is necessary to institutionalize Satanism. Just like any other religion, we still get to do whatever we want without making it into ideology. But welcome to the forum.
