Some QAnon Believers Think JFK Disguised Himself As Trump At Arizona Rally.
https://www.yahoo.com/news/qanon-believers-think-jfk-disguised-225445960.html
I do realize that Elvis and Tupoc are alive and have been spotted in a Tennessee maul. But JFK??! :wall:
"Apparently, there is no conspiracy theory too wild for some QAnon followers.
Case in point: Members of a QAnon group based in Dallas have floated the theory that John F. Kennedy is not only alive, but disguised himself as former President Donald Trump over the weekend to attend a rally in Florence, Arizona.
As evidence, the group’s leader, Michael Protzman, claims Trump appeared to be shorter than he should have been, Vice News reported."
Not possible to reach people like this. Reason is not present in their lives; belief is all they hear. And what is concerning is that this is not a small group of people. This country is simply rotting from the inside out.

Rational people with Q in the family go thru hell and usually the best outcome is to just consider them dead, no contact. The Qultists are almost always religious and less educated, but not always. The reality of a deadly pandemic and the racial balance shifts are too much for them and so they were primed and ripe for mass delusions peddlers.

JFK??! :wall:
I guess the fact that he would be almost 105 doesn't even play into the equation.
Anyway, if it was him I want to know who fixed his back.
Unintended (or it's cousin--unseen results) uses of inventions and better technology as illustrated by the internet. I embraced it fully when it first came out--but I did not foresee the use of it to spread lies and idiocies to the point of being accepted by hundreds of millions of people. This may be the death of this country yet. People seem to gobble up all the bullshit spewing from the internet but not so much facts and factual data. But then, I failed to realize all kinds of shitty aspects of our country and our society. One of the few positives--at least I am old enough that I won't have to witness too much more of this insanity.
We are…..and sadly REALLY are…heading towards “Idocracyâ€.

Yeah, I think we are there. But I don't think we have bottomed out. That will come in 2024 when Trump runs for office again. That won't be the bottom, but when he wins it will mark the beginning of the bottom.

That movie has become a documentary, and these Republican congresspersons are comic book villains.

Fuck that, indeed!!! I have this growing horrid feeling that Trump will run and win in 2024. If not win, then he will manage to have an armed and violent coup attempt. I hope to hell I am totally crazy and totally wrong. But my country has disappointed me so often in these past few years--and white nationalism is a national sickness that has always been there but now is growing rapidly.

Well after what happened, I guess nothing would surprise me anymore.
Beyond everything, why do these people assume JFK would support them or even be interested in politics?

That is a question for people with functioning brains, which I assure you, is not the case here.

Well, actually it´s because JFK would return as a zombie and thus would actively Hunt down people with functioning braaaaaiiinsss... braaaiiiiinnsss
JFK alive? Posing as Trump? Good Grief! The bigger the lie, the more people will believe it. Apparently, it works the same way with "the more stupid it is, the more people will believe it."
It's the latest fad. We tried making sense. Then we tried being assholes. Let's all be really stupid, and see if this helps. Vote Trump in 2024, and Keep America Great! Congress will help, and we can all be proud to be stupid once again.
I'm seeing TV spots where people can call in to "sign" a petition to demand that Biden resign. Didn't see it on FUX News but I don't stay there long.
You know, I wonder if part, definitely not all, but part of the reason why biden is scoring as one of the wordt presidents in terms of popularity, is because he got more votes than any other president ever.
My reasoning is this: people who actually vote are more invested in the outcome and the performance of their preferred candidate. And thus feel more strongly if he/she does not live up to (all) expectations than someone one hasn´t voted in themselves.

Do people who sign this petition want Biden to step down and Kamala Harris to be president? According to Article 61 of the Constitution, the vice president shall become president should the president resign. Personally I think people who believe they would be happier with Trump as president are naive. If Trump were president they would be happy for a couple of weeks and then return to being angry and dissatisfied.
I wouldn't expect the people who signed that to have any idea what would happen next except for
1. Petition
2. Magic
3. [mumble]
4. Trump is president again!
A woman I know is absolutely fucking obsessed with Trump. She walked in and immediately started off saying they found 12 votes wrong somewhere…..Jesus fucking Christ….and they truly think he is better then Christ himself.
I look at the chump and just gag. How anyone could vote for him even once is beyond me. JFK? Even if he hadn't been shot, he'd be dead by now, anyway.
JFK was a Catholic Democrat president anyway. Just like Biden. He has pretty much nothing in common with Trump apart from being popular.

Yeah. Good point. Not only do these people think that JFK rose from the dead, and that he is technically still President just because he didn't personally step down, but also that he switched parties for some reason. Nothing about this makes the slightest bit of sense. Who's coming up with this shit?

LOL, that should alone tell something to someone with average brain capacity. See? It did to me.
What do you mean is he alive? Of course he's alive. Well, his body not so much, but I've got his brain in a bag under my bed. Dust it off every now and again, put it in the passenger seat, and take a drive down to Dealey Plaza.
Just kind of resets everything.
Where did I get the brain? Mind your own business.

I don't know man.
Do people get down on their knees in front of your dick?
Does it declare it's arrival with a white plume from the shaft?
Do you want to see it doing more in the world, with it's capabilities?
Has it ever helped anyone call out to 'GOD', could have happened in heated moment.
Not to mention, we can refer to both as a real dickhead. (Past popes even more so.)
Of course, i do agree we don't concider your dick inphallusible.

He didn't run in the 1964 Election. We elected a president who legally took office. If we had to wait for someone to step down we'd have T-rump hiding in Venezuela or somewhere.
These folks are nuts, yet somehow function in society. That's the scary part.

Yes, this illustrates how relatively easy life has become compared to previous centuries and generations. As we spiral down as the daily temperatures rise, these people will begin slipping away.

Indeed. I'd like to think that the human race is more mature, in some way, from crazy things like the Inquisition or the Holocaust. But the truth is, we aren't all that evolved from the people who developed geometry, so many Millenia ago. It takes an enlightened, liberal education for homo sap to thrive. Without that, all kinds of shit can happen. My personal estimation is that an enlightened, liberal education is going to be hard to come by for some non-trivial number of millennia. The fewer the better, though.
Or just start running for office :I

Let's say that one country or another (rhymes with erica) starts slipping and goes on the decline. Well, there are plenty of countries that would keep democracy and progress going. And sooner or later, they would take the reins and the declining countries could either get left behind forever or could get serious about reform and start gaining ground again. So it not necessarily a permanent global downward spiral. More like a local, reversible decline (though it gets harder to reverse the further down that path you go)

Mankind's scientific progress and expanding knowledge base really does separate us from the other apes, and mankind pats itself on the back, but this progress is due to a very small percentage of the population, actually fractions of one percent. By and large, the vast majority of humanity takes credit for this while sitting on it's collective ass and doing nothing to forward our progress. For every Issac Newton there is a Stalin, Trump, or collection of internet trolls.
