Finding my way out
It was a long, winding road
That led me back here
I like to follow the typical 5-7-5 syllables rule for my haikus, but there are variations. :)
The calm wind blows by
Birds overhead chirp and sing
I sit here and think
Today, like no other
Felt different but the same
I wish you were here
Y’all should post some of yours :)
Fortress of blankets
No real protection from harm
But for a child's mind
Trump a stupid ass
The worst president ever
Go away you dick
Cup of hot coco
Blackened logs ablaze nearby
And the girl in arms
Neither by lock nor key
Can I contain my joy now
A feeling of bliss

Lot's of money exchanged hands
