Terry Jones just died. Even knowing he's been unwell the last couple years, it still sucks, especially so soon after Neil Innes.
There's a very funny ghost out there somewhere.
In a comfy chair.
Wow! I just found out there were only 4 seasons of Monty Python! I guess that means The Flying Circus? I loved the movies, they were all fabulous!
He had dementia for at least 4 years. RIP
Couldn't find a better copy.

I own a boxed set of MP. It does indeed contain four seasons.
Damn it some more. Nicholas Parsons, host of my second favorite radio program(me), has just died. Granted at the age of 96 you can't call it unexpected, but this close on the heels of Terry Jones and Neil Innes, fuck. And it probably means the end of Just A Minute which he has hosted since 1967, not missing a single recording until the summer of 2018. Gyles Brandreth did an okay job deputizing for Parsons in 2018 (and again in 2019), but I can't see him taking over permanently because it would mean keeping his mouth shut, and he's not good at that. I certainly can't see Paul Merton taking over; he needs to be one of the panelists.
2020, you're on warning. You are not going to be another 2016.
