Title: Status of String Theory vs Hype

Basically, this, and multiverse theory, still makes no unique predictions.

Basically this is Millennial ... in that it is how you feel, not what you can demonstrate, that counts.  All physicists get gold stars, just like kindergartners.

I've always had an aversion to the multiverse and many worlds interpretation, exactly because there exists no way to test for them.

Penrose said that, in his conformal cyclic model, the constants might differ from one cycle to the next, making a "spatial" multiverse, unnecessary, since a temporal multiverse would, eventually, make a universe with the numbers we find in ours.
