As it stands, the points made in these videos are that making a day for the hijab is ridiculous, because it promotes some idealized belief that the hijab is a symbol of female representation. The reality is the hijab is a symbol of female oppression, yet weak minded people follow those trying to twist the idea around as a way to fuck with western values.
How about a day for women who take off their hijab in protest to the oppression they suffer forced to conform to deeply religious rules in their country? Wheres the day for them?
