Today Trump tweeted ~"Comey better not have any tapes of our conversations". What is DuhRump thinking?

I noticed a headline this morning claiming Trump has a history of taping conversations even before his presidency, suggesting some sort of threat to Comey could be based on something real. And I suppose such a tape could damage Comey. However, I would guess that blackmailing an FBI director would be breaking some kind of law. But you never know what to take seriously when Trump tweets or speaks. Less than half of what he says appears to be reality based. Most of it is just grandiose blather and bravado. People like Trump, are usually described as "having issues," "out of touch," or "a bit crazy." We seldom elect such unusually unstable people to that office. We have, but not usually, and probably none this far out.

Most people expect " " marks to represent the actual statement. For future reference, maybe learning to spell "Comey" would be helpful when you are intending to misrepresent someone.

Comey was supposed to speak to Congress on Thurs 5/11 before he got fired. I think they called him to testify on Tues 5/16. If they didnt well... they can call him anytime they want so Trump is blowin his wad tryin to keep him from talkin.

Joking? He was the 2000 campaign VP candidate for the D party. But he betrayed is own party ... when it was convenient for him 2006 - 2008 (in 2008 he supported McInsane). He did endorse Hillary in the 2016 election (because she is sufficient AIPAC and warmongering).

Then he would do something stupid and spend some time trying to figure out why people were upset with him. lets see brown fur muppet puppet. shaggy hair, ears like a dog, long snout with 3 lumps. eyes low on the face gave the overall impression of a pig face mixed with a dog and the actors voice sounded a little like Comey

Hey--On Melmac he is know as quite the looker.
I looked up images for Alf, and he's the Muppet I was thinking of, but I never saw the sitcom. I may have seen images of him because I knew who it was, but I don't even remember surfing past the sitcom in the search for some other mindless entertainment. None of the other characters on the show seemed the least bit familiar.

I detested Lieberman the moment I heard him speak. He was nothing in particular about anything. Worst decision Gore made.
As far as Trump goes (and there is no apparent limit to that) he will dare anything to stay in office. I expect he will fire anyone to get rid of Mueller and anyone else who threatens him.
The important question is how Congress will react.
