Very clever science ...

Time to sale that beach front property.
Holy cow, a legit source talking about something actually going on, and pretty informative to boot. Good on you, Baruch.
And yeah, this climate change stuff is the real deal and we all get to watch the effects of it around the world. Greenland's precarious situation is just a very small part of it. And the show only stops if and when we get our act together with our emissions, and even then it'll take a while for things to go back even close to the way they were. But it's such a politicized issue with public denialism and inadequate official action (and that's when effort is even put into it at all) that who knows how much damage will be done before we put a stop to it.
This is going to be the main problem of the 21st century and we won't get many retries if we screw it up.
edit - here's a link (http://www.nature.com/news/greenland-once-lost-nearly-all-its-ice-and-could-again-1.21098) to the Nature article that gizmodo is talking about.
I keep my ears open for news of The Greenland ice sliding off, Yellowstone activating, and a La Palma landslide. Not one is likely, but collectively, odds go up. I keep a backpack ready to go.
