"Ask the man who owns one" applies here.  As an ex "crazy", he should know.  The problem hasn't changed and the solution hasn't changed.  And it won't, as long as there's no important public figure with the guts to stand up and say that, regardless of the money/votes/whatever he's going to lose, he's not going to cater to them any more.

I sometimes wonder if apostates have a better insight into the believers mind than non-apostates. I'm not dissing anyone, but I think - as an apostate - that I have an experience and motivation to draw from that those who are not deconverts do not share. Frank here is calling it as he sees it, it's a case of catering to the "village idiot".
