I don't know why that popped into my head. I'd actually like to check it out if I had TV. It's been a long time since Alfred Hitchcock came up with that iconic symbol of pcycholgical thrills, but if he had never conceived of it, "Bates Motel" might sound like a TV show reminiscent of "The Jeffersons."
