The fuck does it matter what he said? It does not follow that even if this guy was a complete asshole his assholery should be labeled as mansplaining as if men had the monopoly on being assholes in discussions. As if it is such a male thing to be condecending in a discussion. Imo this could very well be true but the gigantic hypocrisy is what matters. We could stop being childish and deal with people as individuals and condenm them for their indivdual defects? Rather than trying to make up stupid words just because theres an average trend in a population that makes them more likely to act in some way.
Crime happens and is a real problem. Poor people on average commit more crime. So stop poorbehaving! See? It is not cool. But my main point was not about men never being condecending to women in a discussion but rather about the stupidity of the word and the hypocrisy of the progressive senator in using it.
Also i have not seen any evidence that men are more condecending or assholish on average on conversation. But I can see that being true due to lowered risk aversion in males.
