I was raised in rural Oklahoma.

down there people are crazy.

they even have book burnings, and believe in witches and demon possession.

I once had an exorcism forced on me.

LOL its why my hat now hangs in colorady!

Pretty sure HBA was raised Pentacostal. They're crazy even by fundamentalist standards.

That was just... fucked up. Not that I'm surprised that it happened, but all the same.

Watching that young lady cry on camera was so sad.  Why can't people understand that bullying kids is bullying kids.... no matter What the foundation for doing so?  eesh
Home schooling will not help this kid get the athletic scholarship she likely deserves.  Just sad.

Poor girl :(

That school sounds like it has a problem with institutionalised bulling.

yep. my post shouldn't be taken to claim all okies are crazy. in fact my Baptist mom took me away from my dad (they're divorced) temporarily specifically in response to the exorcism. she was pissed. so even within my own family they don't all do this, but my home church sure did.

no I am not making up what happened to me.

The school sounds like it has a problem with education - the education (or lack of it) of the people running it.

With one religion of love, and another religion of peace, who needs war and murder?  Love and peace can reduce us to an nonviable population all by themselves.
