There is a deliberate campaign going on about the number of refugees, the number that will be given the status, therefore generally the refugee crsis esp. concerning Germany.
In som earticles -in one
pr126 posted in the SJWs thread- it says that "1 million 100 K refugees ARRIVED in Germany." The numbers randomly flying around is hyped up to create fear. And the consequences of this will be severe.

QuoteThe UK has accepted 216 Syrian refugees. Germany has accepted 800,000.â€
George Eaton, New Statesman Political Editor, 2 September 2015
Last week we wrote about the claim that the UK has accepted 216 Syrian refugees to Germany’s 800,000. While we came to a clear conclusion that the 216 figure wasn’t correct (an additional 5,000 Syrians have been granted refugee status or a similar form of humanitarian protection here since 2011), we didn’t address the claim that Germany has accepted 800,000 Syrian refugees.
A reader has asked whether that’s accurate.
Germany hasn’t accepted 800,000 Syrian refugees, on any measureClaim verdict 800,000
From 2011 to 2014, Germany received around 460,000 asylum seekers in total, from all countries. It expects to receive 800,000 in 2015, again from all countries (not just Syria), and a significant proportion of these will not be given refugee status.
Only 210,000 of these projected 800,000 had applied for asylum in Germany by the end of July, according to Eurostat figures, but the government says that its forecast reflects the greater number of people actually entering the country intending to apply, not just those already in the system.
Fewer than 50,000 Syrians applying for German asylum this year so far
Something like 40,000 or 45,000 (depending on your source) of the people who had begun an asylum application in Germany between January and the end of July this year were Syrian. Since the start of the Syrian crisis in 2011, around 105,000 Syrians have applied for asylum in Germany, compared with 7,000 in the UK. Most of them are likely to be accepted as refugees.

Granted, that doesn’t take into account the lag time in application processing mentioned by the German government, or indeed the influx of the past few weeks. But it’s still a long way off 800,000.
Germany has, in addition to the ordinary asylum process for people who make their own way there, made available 35,000 places for refugees to be resettled from the Syrian region. There are also new EU proposals for 160,000 asylum seekers to be relocated from EU countries like Greece, Italy and Hungary, of which Germany would take a large share.
So there’s no doubt that Germany will end up accepting hundreds of thousands of refugees, both from Syria and the wider world.

Who to believe? Does it matter at all?
If you cannot decide who to believe and also if it doesn't matter for you, why do you choose to believe a number that is 10 times more and obviously wrong?
Can't you see that this propaganda will end sooner or later in bloodshed?
They are creating a huge paranoia, a panic and fear for nothing and when that spreads to US, Europeans and Americans will suffer from this. A big group of people are already ready to create violence armed head to toe over dropping down as the religous class across the pond. It's the same media.
I live in faaaar less fear of my life than these people and I'm 10-20 times more likley to die in any terrorist attack. It's ridiculous. Somebody needs to slap Europe hard or there won't be one left for very different reasons Europeans themselves can't even imagine now.
Solution to refugee problem? Use the mot ubiquitous government agency, the local post office ... put a stamp on the refugee with notice "Return to Sender, address unknown" ;-)
I think countries should take in refugees.
But I don't blame them for being concerned, but all of this DEM BROWNIES GONNA BLOW US UP bullshit needs to stop.

They don't care.
Edit edit... Fuck it, not worth it.
How many are genuine Syrian refugees fleeing a war zone and how many opportunistic economic migrants jumping the band wagon?
How do you tell them apart? Why does it matter? They are all refugees now.

Either way I don't take issue with taking them in as refugees personally.
Who pays the bill?
Is the bill worse than leaving tens of thousands of people to die... to have their entire life torn down around them and their families forced to grow up in hatred and destitution?
What is the moral bill for turning our back on them? What is the sociopolitical bill of making them our enemies?
The war in Syria is Muslim on Muslim, fighting for supremacy between Sunni and Shiia.
A self created hell.
The Iraq - Iran war - from 1980 to 1988 for the same reason - lasted for 8 years. How many millions of refugees have the west taken then?
The reason that Eastern European countries such as Hungary, the Chech Republic, Poland, Serbia, Greece, etc. Are Not taking any "refugees" is because they know their history.
Having in the past Muslim occupation, (The Ottoman Empire) then the Nazis and then the Soviets.
They know totalitarian invasion when they see it.
This is invasion by invitation. And they don't want any of it.
You are welcome to have them.
How many here read about the battle of Tours, or the battle of Vienna, or the battle of Lepanto? The Spanish Reconquista?
Would any school teach it in history lessons today?

That kind of wisdom would avoid WW i and WW II ... the cost of neglect vs the cost of action. We have no empirical evidence of such wisdom.
It is typical bourgeois sentiment to worry about one's tax bill ... a bent farthing is enough for Tiny Tim, isn't it?
Of course it is normal that they are concerned about refugees. However, this is not concern.
People are already far more likely to stay at home in Europe, in where I live -everywhere from Middle East to the US- than acting the way they do before. This is what terrorist groups want, what they plan and work for with all their power. It's not just about the death toll created in attacks. It's about chaning our lives.
It's about scaring societies; impacting their life styles, their socio-ecomoic behaviours. Inflicting panic and fear to get more clicks; for more profit is right out supporting ISIL. Not to mention it is another sign -among many others Western media keeps imposing on international scale- of underestimation of the threat called Islamic terrorism. While West blaming all its shit and bullshit on a specific religion and its minorities living among them, ISIL keeps escalating in every attack.
You guys realise that they managed to pull off a storm attack around the globe, right? (Just a reminder as it seems not to count when something doesn't happen in the West) They killed people in a concert hall with mass execution in a European capital on a Friday night, at entertainment prime time. And perpetrators were European born. Something similar to that happened in 2004 only in Nairobi airport (according to experts) before Paris.
The media bullshit arrived at so ridiculous proprotions, anything that goes wrong in Europe is directly-openly blamed on a refugee-muslim population that mostly don't even exist in Europe close to the numbers used to scare people. And assuming journalists -at least some of them- have the ability to understand simple high school arithmetics or feel some sort of responsibility on how they do their jobs, this can't be just some interpretation of current events and a chain of coincidences.
Nobody can lack this kind of insight to the society they live in, nor can lack the simple foresight what could happen, if you radicalise both sides in this climate living together. Europe is NOT the US. Life style is different. Just the basic daily traveling all around alone relies on mass transportation. People live in close interaction.
And nobody asks questions, nobody cares about the facts. Best examples are the walfare discussions in UK on media and how it is used by politicians related to minorities and what is happening in reality with numbers. Or the long going campaign based on blatant lies about sexual assaults in Norway and Sweeden about muslim minorities. Again nobody gives a fuck about the facts.
Because that's how poeple work. People are always ready to hate, to fear. Apply some heat, in time the consequences will be a catastrophy.
Nothing is going ot happen to those Media Network Bosses or their families. Or anyone who is powerful enough to profit from global terrorist activity right now. It's going to happen, happening to us. People. To people in Asia Minor, in Asia, in Middle East, in the US, in Europe...everywhere around the world. People.
And what are we? A huge fucking herd that trying to take each other out even before the real threat can manage.
