Title: We've been wrong about the Confederate flag all along
Post by: TomFoolery on January 08, 2016, 11:32:28 PM
Who wants to play a game called: "What's worse?"

Is it:
A. The content of the original image?
B. The possibility (or claim) that the content of this image was actually taught in public schools in the South or would actually be on a GED exam?
C. The profound belief of the posters that it's actually historical?
D. That the idiot at the bottom is the actual voice of reason?

Well... first off the cross should be white then... not blue. The blue represents the light blue of the sky, and the cross being composed of two white clouds.

Second off... If that's the reason then it should be light blue as the sky, not navy.

And unless my understanding of numbers is wrong, there were only 11 states that seceded from the union.

Of course, understanding basic American history and that 13 is more than 11 might be a little less important for a GED exam.

There were actually several Confederate flags, just to confuse the shit out of the issue. The "Stars and Bars" most often seen is actually the North Carolina battle flag surrendered by Lee at Appomattox.
