Hello everyone, I was directed to write an intro after posting in a thread in the Christianity section, so here I am.
I am a Catholic who enjoys very much to think about things and to learn where others are coming from to understand their point of view. I also like to think of myself as a reasonable person and a logical thinker.
The reason I am a Catholic is both because of personal experiences and the fact that Catholicism lines up extremely well with my own philosophical views which are very Aristotelian.
I found this site through a mistake, actually, a friend of mine invited me to join her at atheistforums.org and I mistakenly joined this forum instead. However, I like it here so far and think I will stay. ;)
If you have any questions ask away, I will answer them as I have time. :)
Howdy!
I look forward to learning whatever you can teach me. We do talk about things other that religion, sometimes. You'd better have a good, strong faith, though, if you want to keep it.
I would like to add that I admit that there is a lot I don't know, and much that I need to further explore. My view of the world is not that of someone who has finished thinking about it and knows all the answers.

I figured being a Catholic is probably the most distinctive thing about me, but I certainly hope you don't only talk about religion. :)
:welcome:
Welcome to our little band of heathens.
Don't worry, we're all heathens to someone. :p

Be warned: we may not be Catholic but we still have a Purgatory for misbehaving theists. Preach at your own risk.
Secretly a Warsie.
Welcome also. I think our site is much better than atheistforum.org anyway ;-) I like Aristotle too ... most times. But I am also a practicing Jewish mystic with an independent turn of mind.
Afternoon OddOneOut an Welcome.
Hi
We disagree on pretty much anything except if god exists or not, and even at that, we disagree on what to call ourselves despite not believing in a deity - well, those of us who don't believe in a deity, that is. Mind the caveats.

Transcendental numbers are so ... theological ;-) I have "e" ... Canadians have "eh".
