What bullshit. LoL'ed. Turks are comiiiing, run!

QuoteEuropean Union leaders have agreed to speed up work on easing visa access for Turkey, a candidate for EU membership, to help stem the flood of migrants in return for concessions from Brussels, including easier visa access.

“We agreed tonight on exact content of the joint EU-Turkey Action Plan on the refugee crisis. Will negotiate financial support now”, said Council president Donald Tusk. ” We agreed with Turkish partners on acceleration of visa liberalization but without stepping away from basic criteria.”
Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker said there would be a clear link between granting Turkey easier visa access, as would be expected for a country seeking EU membership, and its commitment to helping manage the migrant crisis.

The agreement with Turkey proved the most important decision of the evening. The pending deal would offer significant financial aid â€" Turkey wants up to â,¬3 billion â€" and a promise to consider speeding up visa liberalization for Turkish citizens traveling to Europe in exchange for help coping with the flow of Syrian refugees through the country.

On the margins of the EU summit, UK prime minister David Cameron sought to defuse fellow EU leaders’ frustration over a lack of detail in his demand for new membership terms from the bloc by promising on Thursday to send them his wish-list in writing in early November.

The prime minister says his bid to renegotiate relations with the bloc it joined in 1973 is “bloody hard work”, but many officials across the European Union have expressed frustration that London has failed to submit precise detail on its proposals since Cameron was re-elected in May.

With EU leaders grappling with a migration crisis, some officials have cautioned that an initial schedule that envisaged a deal being hashed out in December could slip, pushing back Britain’s referendum until at least late 2016.

“The pace will now quicken and I’ll be again setting out the four vital areas where we need change, laying down what those changes will be at the start of November,” Cameron said as he arrived for a summit of EU leaders in Brussels.

“So we quicken the pace and quicken those negotiations in the run-up to the December Council,” he said of the next summit, scheduled for Dec. 17-18.

Quid pro quo?  Too little too late?  Really, hasn't Turkey not gotten enough support from Nato for the last 4 years of Syrian crisis?  I suspect the answer is yes to all three questions.  I doubt that Turks working in Germany are anxious to share their green cards with Syrians/Iraqis.

No, they are offering Turkish citizens easy way in Europe for stopping the migrant flow. The thing is, it was a discussion before the refugee crisis as a reward to a list of do's and don'ts Europe has been imposing.

I remember the pandemonium when you visited the US shoe.. We all had our guns at the ready just in case.  We didn't want an incorrect translation of some linguistic book making its way into our first grade classrooms!  And you thought we weren't paying attention.

You should drop by the UK on your way just to scare the shit out of pr. I'll tell my daughters boyfriend you're coming so he can hide in his bunker just in case you decide to translate something inadvertently.
