I once was at some friends' house for dinner, when I told their children that we were all made from stardust. Boy, did those folks get mad! I guess Earth-dust is fine, but stardust is taboo.

In Aristotelian physics, we can't go up and touch, let alone go thru, the crystalline celestial spheres ... where later Christians placed the angels and Heaven.  To bad when you get to Heaven, the low air pressure causes your blood to boil ;-(
