Gee Becky. I just don't know how to break it to you,  but who really gives a dead rat turd about you?
I know it's disappointing, but I could really care less what you think.

Yup. I was pretty much addressing them both and now I just want to stab myself in both ears after 2 minutes of that. .

I think it's only natural to think of Sir-Mix-A-Lot when one hears "God" and "Becky" in the same sentence.

This video is pretty much the conservative Christian equivalent of "LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE!".

It's interesting that she seems to think this gay marriage thing is a referendum on God.  Like the pro-gay marriage side is somehow the anti-god side.  Pssh.  I wish.

Also, even if we accept the really dubious premise that the Christian God exists and has personally declared that guys can only marry women and vice versa, it doesn't follow that people who aren't Christians should be beholden to this rule.  Lots of things are legal that Christians often don't like:  abortion, same sex intercourse, religious pluralism, post-secondary education, etc.  I don't see why gay marriage is some intolerable slight to God while that stuff is disliked but tolerated.

Good grief, that was pathetic.  I actually felt embarrassed.

I think early on she said something like, "Five judges turned against EVERYTHING God has created and has taught us."  Everything, mind you, eveereery thing!  Well, I'm not going to watch it again to make sure, so maybe I got it wrong, but probably not.

"They're ISLAAAAAAAAAAAMIC extremelists!"

"All I want to know is truth." Well, first thing you need to do is toss away that bibble, lady.

Yeah, that part of her rant jarred me too.  She could have approached it different, and made less glaring nonsense.  But it came out sounding like the Bible contains the truth, only no one, including herself, is capable of knowing the truth.  Only God knows the truth, which he put in the Bible, which no one is capable of discerning the truth from.  It makes the whole Bible thingy pointless, and God's apparent inability to communicate his thoughts should be cause for concern for any Christian out there.
