I'm a biochemistry student originally from Texas.
I spent the last ten years assuming I was agnostic, until a few short years ago when I really started thinking about it and discovered I was an atheist, and moreover, I was ok with that. As it turns out, my family who barely ever went to church on Christmas or Easter has big problems with that.
So it's been lonely. Just looking for new people to talk to.
I have no problem with religion. I accept it for what it is, and the fundamental role it has in many people's lives.
Welcome Tomfoolery....
Don't be lonely. There are lots of us out there! Welcome aboard! :pirate:
Welcome, Tomfoolery. You should like it here.
Thank you for the welcome. It's always weird starting in on a new forum and trying to get a feel for the place, but at least this one seems somewhat active. :)
Welcome. We have our ups and downs, like every forum.

Welcome indeed. Judging from your post I just read you are wise. I hope you will stick around.
Helloooo.
Greetings and welcome to the smartest and dumbest place on earth..(depending on whose post yer reading)
Most of my favorite is either agnostic or atheist and they all have a hard time discussing it for whatever reasons.. My dad just says there's something out there..whatever that means.. My gf is a self proclaimed xtian, but truth be told I have a hunch she's not far from agnostic, but just can't bring herself to admit it.. So....I just toss out my opinions and let them stew about it because in the end even if I told them I was a devil worshipper they'd just shrug and say that figures..
