He was being satirical. Of course its not a preference its just a fact of nature. But even certain fetishes come inherently to someones nature.

The funny thing is this guy thinks humankind has invented machinery that has been launched into space to create these holograms of the moon and planets, yet just looking though history books we discover people studying the moon centuries, ago, even going back to ancient civilizations showing carved images of the moon and sun. Did mankind have the technology to launch holographic machines into space when they haven't even invented bodyspray yet?
I guess I could have worded the gay part better, but yes being hetero is also a preference because you prefer to have the opposite sex, and no being gay is not exactly the same as a fetish, I admit I should have been more clear on that.

I'm sure it was a simple mistake. Even though Mage calls it a fetish, it still comes off as an implication of it being a natural thing and not a sin.
Whenever someone says to me "being gay is a choice", I ask them if one's sexual nature is a choice - and they invariably reply with "yes, of course".
So I tell them I feel a bit sorry to hear that. They always ask why. I reply... "you find women like Gisele Bundchen really attractive, right?" - they say yes - I reply "because when I see Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen, I see her long legs.. her perfect butt... her great rack and her perfect face and I think 'yeeeah, I'd LOVE some of that!'.
