So beautiful
Since I am probably the only person on here who has had to muck out a stall, my feelings of horse reverence are not so well intentioned.

Don't be ignorant. It is not worship of the horse. It is worshiping The Picture Of The Horse. It's a big difference.
The objects of religion are beautiful, the music. the Cathedrals, churches most of the time, Mosques, statues, paintings, even the idols, but I hardly think religion is beautiful that teaches people to accept being under control of an authority figure like they were when children, takes away their individuality, teaches them as children that fantasies are real, and that there really is magic with divine figures, and worst of all, that there is a God that loves them and watches over them.
It also makes people not take this life serious because they will still exist when they die, which gives them false hope. It can also teach guilt for what is normal, and justify prejudice, hatred, bigotry, war, violence, and fear of hell in most with their dogma.
It also caters to the stupid and ignorant and childish adults, thinking they have knowledge when all they have is ignorance with absolute knowledge with God, or gods that they love, sometimes, more than their families. Can there be anything that is more sinful, when they act on their faith? :fU: :axe: Solitary
Solitary. This is a satire video making fun of religion... Lol

I very nearly raged at the thread title and vid, but it was all worth it to see this endlessly repeated lie get lampooned.
I am officially converting to the religion of the Picture of the Horse, and I humbly ask of all of you to donate unto me thine Gatorade, so that I might gift it to the Picture of a Horse, and receive its blessing
As a person who has been bitten, stepped on and kicked by horses, I deny your false religion. Those fuckers are EVIL.

Never had an unpleasant experience with them personally. I always approach them from the sides and take care not to startle or frighten them, and back off if they make any sudden moves. The trained/nice ones are a pleasure to be around.

As a side note, whatever people see as affection from horses strikes me as little more than indifference. Yet people swear the horse is showing affection. I just don't see it most of the time. I did know one horse, Tag, who genuinely seemed happy to see me. He would spot me from a distance and come barreling like a locomotive at full speed. It was almost scary, but he would put on the brakes at the last second and end up standing a foot away, but after all the frightening show of exuberance, he would just stand there or follow me around. But that was an exceptional show of affection for a horse, in my experience.
Religion is nothing more than gap filling. It is our ignorance of our group survival reality. It is an artificial excuse to set up social order. The same can be said for political parties and business models. Humans seek patterns they think work for the individual and or the group they are used to. It is beneficial in that context but it always ignores the competition for resources which is the real reality and that allows us to be pitted against each other as a species.
Oh come now.. How much more beautiful can religion be than UltraChrist â,,¢ ?

Funny ass movie by the way..
From the IMDB
QuoteJesus returns to Earth in present-day NYC, sent by his Father to usher in 2000 years of Godly peace. Unfortunately, modern young people respond poorly to this bearded weirdo. Taking the advice of a market research guru, Jesus has a Spandex costume made and declares himself "Ultrachrist", an urban sin-fighter. Unfortunately, his Father doesn't approve of these unorthodox techniques, while the Antichrist (the NYC Parks Commissioner) ressurects an army of famous sinners to make sure Ultrachrist's mission fails.

You already worship the pony. Converting to the horse will get you banished to Brony Hell.

Well the fact that it is believable says a lot about blind faith, doesn't?
