I ran across this earlier today, and had to share with you all. Very interesting. Unreal how some people view atheists. Please take a few minutes to watch, it's worth it.
I saw this since I have Jaclyn on subscribe.
So christians will give money to a charity with the god logo over it, regardless of whatever charity it supports, but will look at it evily if atheists are running it, even if its the same charity.
These fuckers don't support charity when they give money, they simply do it for their magical sky daddy, more then likely because they think it will put them in 'gods good graces'.
also as she pointed out, there are so fewer atheists, but they gave more then the mass numbers of Christians gave. Again it just reinforces my belief that they people only give to charity because they think it will get them into heaven.
Yes, I thought that was interesting when she said that.
Another curious point, last year I read an article discussing a survey done as it relates to atheists and compassion. Not sure what the parameters were for the survey, but, it showed that atheists were more compassionate than Christians. Not to say Christians are not compassionate, but on average, they are not merely motivated by that when it comes to helping others, they are motivated by hell vs heaven.
Honestly... I saw this and I don't think this is a very good way to go about it. I have never heard of a hospital with the name atheist in the title, so I would be skeptical about donating to it. You hear about christian hospitals all the time, so it's more normalized...
Just my two cents. I'm an atheist and I wouldn't have donated to a person with a "United Atheist Hospital" sign. I would think it's shifty. And in this case, the atheist hospital was a made up name anyway (the united methodist hospital might be too, but that's beside the point.) All I'm saying is it could have been done better, because the issue she was trying to communicate is a real one and a frustrating one.
Atheist Hospitals; Because this is the end of the line motherfuckers..
Oh I'd trust an atheist run hospital, because I believe it would be a hospital that actually focuses on science and medicine and not on sky daddies wishing for them to get better by his magic paddle.
I always donate something no matter how great or little I have when I see a charity.
I think it's sad that the general population mistrusts atheists so much and puts so much faith into a church.

I don't think the name of the hospital had "athiest" in it, it was "Los Angeles Childrens Hospital" both times. It was the group's name that was raising the money that changed. "Southern United Methodists" vs "Southern United Atheists".

yeah, the fucktards don't see that its a childrens fundraiser, they just see the athiest part.
I wonder if its true that in churches now preachers now target atheists as the devil as much as they do gays and how they once did to black people.
I guess I misread that. Ok I take what I said back! Lol
