Title: A newbie Christian
Post by: chongjasmine on June 14, 2014, 04:15:03 AM
Hi from Singapore. I am chongjasmine, and as you can tell from my name, I am a gal. I know you are atheists and you have your reasons for being so, and I choose a different path from you all. I am a christian. I believe in God, Jesus and the bible.
You may find me simple in my faith, but beside my different religious preference from all of you, I am a pretty easy-going person.
Nice to meet you all!

Welcome cj

I'm fine with you as long as you aren't a prick/troll/cult-pusher.

I'm not saying you are any of those. Just saying that we get those a lot and it gets tiring.

Welcome, Chongjasmine, to our merry little band of heathens. (We are all heathens to some, at least in the informal useage of the word.)

We lack reasons for believing.  It's that lack of belief that makes us atheists.

Welcome to the forum.

Welcome, Jasmine. I hope you enjoy our forum. Are you saying you're new to Christianity, or that you are a Christian new to this forum?

Just a heads up,we tend to repond well to sincere questions, but you have had many troll predecessors who have left us quick to think someone is trying to toy with us. The less you assume about us, the better we're likely to get along. Best of luck.

Welcome aboard chongjasmine! Are you bragging or complaining? A belief in God is fine even if it is a delusion if it makes you feel good, But the magical thinking it requires is detrimental to life, and shows a history of depravity and hypocrisy. Solitary
