Quote from: "Dena Stewart-Gore""The way socialism works is it takes anybody that doesn't fit the mold and discards them," she said, adding that "we are even talking genocide and murder here, folks."

1. Socialism has nothing to do with science, evolution, or climate change.

2.

SOCIALISM DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY!

The rest of the the article is also filled with grade A stupidity.

Sorry guys, I couldn't read that shit. The OP post was just depressing, and the two links you posted Skeptical made my eye's bleed (along with my, "You didn't spell that correctly..." senses implode).

I stopped reading this one at the claim that Marx was educated by Jesuits.  Not likely for someone baptized Lutheran, educated in Trier High School (with many liberal humanist teachers), the University of Bonn and the University of Berlin.  I seldom keep reading "scholarship" of this lack of character.

This one I stopped reading after the first sentence, "Is Darwinism True?".  (I did scan a bit more.)  No one is advocating teaching Darwinism.  If you don't even understand what you're objecting to, your objections can't be very intelligent.  And "Darwinism has successfully replaced Christianity as the West's guide to the nature of man" proves my point.

You're right - goldmines of stupid.

The original monkey trial, Tennessee v. Scopes, was in Tennessee not Kentucky. The latest one,  Kitzmiller v. Dover School District, was in Pennsylvania.

I guess fucked up states aren't confined to south.

Yeah I posted about this a few days ago. Yikes huh? Every so often we get a reminder of just how fucking ignorant the south can be.

Awesome!  Teach them proper old testament biblical values!

My kids could use less competition when they enter the workforce.

I spent a good bit of my military service in the south. Ft. Knox, Ky., Ft. Benning, Ga., and Ft Polk, La. You can keep it. All of it.

Love it when people who don't know shit about evolution or even communism think they are fit to describe either.

I wonder if they consider teaching that 2 + 2 = 4, and not even considering 3 or 5, is fascist?  Why don't we teach THAT controversy?  For small values of 2, or large values of 3, 2 + 2 DOES equal 3.  (About as much as creationism is true, at any rate.)
