Title: Why do people believe in evolution, despite there being no evidence for it
Post by: FreethinkingSceptic on January 08, 2026, 05:43:30 PM
If you want to prove evolution to be true, the evidence you will need is a video recording of a single-celled organism evolving into a human over the span of millions of years.

Since such evidence hasn't been provided, there is no reason to believe in evolution, and you would have to be incredibly naive to do so.

Imagine that you said:

If you want to prove Christianity to be true, the evidence you will need is a video recording of every instant of Jesus' life. And god's too.

Since such evidence hasn't been provided, there is no reason to believe in Christianity, and you would have to be incredibly naive to do so.

Do you see how that makes you sound like a scientific illiterate?

Per the above, it's entirely possible that God created organisms with the appearance of having evolved, but in reality they were created in their present state.

You believe that they have evolved just because they have an appearance of having done so, without having actually seen them do so. And even if you've seen small, observable changes in some species, this doesn't mean that you've seen a single-celled organism evolve into a modern human. You're merely making the assumption that they did based on the appearance of common ancestry, when it's entirely possible that God created them that way.

Then there's no "evidence" that you exist. You'll just naysay anything presented. Do you wear shoes? My hillbilly cousins in Kenfucky sould a lot like you.

Fortunately, you are not an authority on what counts as evidence. You're just a jackass shooting off your mouth on the internet. Otherwise, you would have died of dysentery by age eight.

You only think that electrical outlets are dangerous. It's entirely possible that The Lawrd Gawd AwllMitey made them candy-flavoured.
