I'm glad to know that there is some common sense among Oklahoma public school educators. According to this AP article,
Oklahoma teachers were told to use the Bible. There's resistance from schools as students return (https://apnews.com/article/bible-mandate-oklahoma-schools-bixby-superintendent-19e235a16d9aefd350df9106a5d759b3),
some schools are ignoring the stupid state mandate.
Did they say WHICH bible?

That's a good question. It took me a while to find it, but here is a link to the letter that orders public school superintendents to comply:

I don't see where it specifies which bible, so if it was left up to me, I would choose "The Bartender's Bible, 1001 Mixed Drinks". I think that would qualify as a foundational text.

...sez Mr. Martini! 😊
Satanic Bible.
have a book called The Atheist's Bible, by Georges Minois, that's not what it sounds like.
"The story begins with a rumor: in 1239, Pope Gregory IX accused Frederick II, the Holy Roman emperor, of heresy. With no evidence, Gregory announced that Frederick had written a supremely blasphemous book - De tribus impostoribus, or the Treatise of the Three Impostors - in which Frederick denounced Moses, Jesus and Mohammed as Impostors. Frederick denied the charge, and over the following centuries the story played out across Europe, with a host of "strong minds" seeking a copy of the scandalous text. Finally, in the eighteenth century, someone brought the purported text into existence."

I have yet to read the thing, but I expect it to be a real nail biter!
How very Christian of them.
