Passed away at the age of 69 (http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-40074090).  Damn.  Not a bad run for what he went through, and put himself through, but damn.

There are more I miss greater...  I was "of that age" and I looked at his songlist.  Couldn't find one I really wanted to hear again.  Couldn't find many I even knew.  He was sort of a star because he was a star.  Nothing much more.  Sorry.
