I don't usually get emotional over celebrity deaths, but looking at old photos of her online it just struck me. A New Hope was one of the few movies my Dad took us to see as kids :-( Goodbye beautiful Princess <3

I saw Star Wars at the theater in 77 with my brother and sister. Friday night the 3 of us were at the theater watching Rouge 1 when she had her heart attack. It was the first thing I heard about when I got home. So sad.

I never followed her career or knew anything about her. After princess Leia, she kind of dropped off my radar. The next time I was aware of her was when she made brief appearances in the first Blues Brothers Movie, as the jilted lover trying to blow up the Blues Brothers. Then she disappeared from my radar for good until yesterday.

Yeah, I suspect. I didn't know it was her in the Blues Brothers either, until I read something that made a big deal about her cameo scenes, and then I didn't really know who she was. I was familiar with Princess Leia, of course, but never bothered to know who played her. Although the name Carrie Fisher sounded familiar.

After reading the tweet... that's not exactly what he said. That said I don't think he said anything too far... better phrasing may have been appropriate though. Though she herself was sick of being recognized for her sexiness... which again goes back to phrasing. "She was the most beautiful creature to grace the earth... and she also turned out to be pretty smart too!".

All in all... a big meh. No one's rights were infringed and nothing was particularly nasty from either side (besides Cinabon who can go fuck themselves). Both sides blowing shit out of proportions... yet again.
Cinnabon doesn't bother me at all. If someone made a Cinnabon roll that looked like me I'd be flattered, I know I'm not Carrie fisher or a famous celebrity but still. They don't even get the befit of the doubt, since they're a corporation there's no chance they did it just as a "hey someone we all liked and respected died so here's a little tribute from us since this is our depcislott. Steve Martin didn't mess his tweet up that's people reading too far into it once again and looking for a fight. I have no feels right for the other side in this one, he didn't deserve the flak he got. As somsome who has way too much experience with the SJW crowd. I'm sick of it.
