This demonstrates the potential of the internet. Everybody gets ideas, but the vast majority of them never see the light of day for any number of reasons, from lack of resources to the technical inability of the creator. Everybody has had an idea that later got turned into something useful or profitable by someone else. This is the kind of proactive attitude that fuels progress.

One day when I was in college for electronics I actually had the idea for the "laser mouse". Of course, the very NEXT day I found one sitting on a bench at that very college. The only explanation I have is that my idea was stolen before I had it.
I have a lot of different interests and a generally inventive mind, and don't have the time to pursue things that require time and resources and effort. This is a pretty cool thing to me, because it gives you a place to present your ideas to like minded people that can evaluate it.
