The preacher said: “In our nation, one of the things we pray for is that some of this craziness would settle down… [but] our nation seems to be shaking its fist in God’s face, we’re abandoning God as a nation.
“What happens then is God abandons us and backs away, he he takes his favour and blessing away from us.

“[If we repent] I think he would begin to reveal the plots of terrorists before they are carried out, even the weather patterns he can control and protect us from violent storms.
“I think that’s why God allows bad things to happen. I think that’d why he would allow 9/11 to happen, or the dreadful attack in San Bernardino. To show us we need him.”
Her brother Franklin Graham has previously accused Obama of spreading ‘immorality’ and ‘sin’, while praising Russia’s Vladimir Putin for instituting a ban on ‘gay propaganda’.
In a recent interview with a Russian newspaper, Graham praised Vladimir Putin’s support for anti-gay laws â€" and claimed that homosexuals “take people’s children”.
Repeating disturbing rhetoric often used by anti-LGBT vigilantes in Russia, he said: “Homosexuals cannot have children, they can take other people’s children.”

Holy fucking crap. Gays take other people's children? More like adopt and provide nurturing for unwanted children.

Look at that face! That smile! I wish one of those planes had flown right into that face ... God controls the weather patterns - well, come down to the Jersey Shore and tell that to the faithful who are still homeless after Sandy left them that way and our Republican governor forgot all about them (while coming up w/tax cuts for brand new marinas for millionaires). They'll be real happy to hear that right before their prayer service at the homeless shelters. That'll help to keep them faithful and giving in their nickels and dimes that really could be put to better use.

It never ceases to amaze me that there exists a way to look at someone and instantly know, "Yeah, that person is bat shit insane."

Do you think she started out perfectly normal but after so many years of seeing her own face in the mirror her personality simply warped over time to match the look?

I think that it was a combo act, the face and the personality working on each other over time. We see the face, now imagine the personality that goes w/it.

My grandmother was batshit crazy about Billy Graham.  Whenever he would be doing one of his TV crusades, she would get all excited, like she was going to get a free trip to Disneyland.  I grew up thinking he was a great man, although I never really understood the big fuss.  "He was always saving the souls of the damned."

They were damned by the God who created and loves them, of course. The all-powerful, all-loving, perfect God who CHOSE to make his creatures imperfect - and then punish them for their imperfections. Seems logical to me - not you, huh?

Its the "Stepford Wife" paradigm. Grew up with it as a Mormon. Vacant eyes, wide grin, breed on command.
