^ Is guy in video correct on afterlife?
Are http://www.youtube.com/user/holdingfirmly/feed
Mike DeSario's teachings (especially on Hell)
correct or no?
The video didn't work from the post.
Mr DeSario is an independent Christian blogger. IMHO ... he is neither right nor wrong, but at least he is somewhat independent of institutional Christianity.
What is Heaven? What is Hell? IMHO ... you are in both Heaven and Hell, right here, right now. The past is only pride and regret. The future is only hope and fear. Emotions, not places. If you are positive, then you are momentarily in Heaven. If you are negative, then you are momentarily in Hell. And this is what incarnation means ... you are both the source and recipient of positive and negative feelings ... actions and consequences.
Thanks for posting.
There is no evidence that any claims of an afterlife are true.

I agree ... yet there always seems to be ... tomorrow, tomorrow ;-)
No and no.
That video is religious propaganda. I didn't watch much of it, but from what I could tell the dude was selling religion on the basic fear that people we love will someday die. No, he is not "correct". He's guessing based on what some moldy old manuscripts tell him, manuscripts from such a primitive age they came centuries BEFORE people were stupid enough to believe that they could turn lead into gold. There is no evidence whatsoever to support any of those claims and there is no reason whatsoever to simply assume a single source of ancient magical teachings is correct, but all others are just nonsense. Such a position is absurd in the extreme. The likelihood of any of that being "correct" is very, very slim. The likelihood that all of it is correct is statistically insignificant. Magic simply is not real.
But people's fear of the present and future, for themselves and their loved ones ... is real. The question is what do you do with this fear. Some people monetize it ... including hospitals, nursing homes and funeral homes. It isn't just churches who believe that death can be avoided or transcended. There are existing or new money streams ... capitalism is to come up with a reason for you to get involved in the siphoning off of part of that stream.

What do I have to do for the 72 virgins Mr. Afterlife?

If I were Allah, I would have harpies tear and bite the flesh off of the arrogant Muslim males, like flying piranha. Then the Muslim women get 72 perpetually hard virgin men to play with.

Bad method ... no matter how fast or in what direction we run, we are always running into the future.
