Maduro is a "designated" drug lord.  Per US over-loading international law in many cases, they can impose US law in non-US countries.  Not that I like that at all.  He could be taken out like the Iranian general.

Scared of a little cold ;-).  Just stay isolated longer if you can.  If you can't, you have got to take your chances.  Since Covid spread so fast we have all probably been exposed by now and don't know it.  You can always dress up as a Chick-fil-et cow if you need herd immunity ;-)

The stats for Covid are probably no more accurate than the ones for Swine Flu ... but at this point, Covid is 5x more deadly than Swine Flu.  And if we are half way done, then it is 10x more deadly than Swine Flu.  That was a good enough reason to quarantine the country, which we didn't even think to do 10 years ago.

in toyko, they haven't enforced any laws on quarantine or isolation. the people there have simply done so themselves.
