That map essentially shows where the idiots live.  While most states are pretty splotchy, Texas and surrounding states look particularly bad.  As do Alabama, both Dakotas, Montana, and Alaska.

You'd think Hawaii of all places would be relatively unscathed (iirc they weren't hit hard at all until August or so) but for some strange reason, their numbers really shot up after they opened the floodgates to tourists from the rest of the country.  Weird.

Equally perplexing is New York and the rest of New England's (plus Oregon) noticeably better situation compared to the rest of the country.  Might there be some major difference in how they combat this disease?  In most of the country, do they even do anything to combat the disease?

The second map shows very clearly our idiots per capita.  A very distinct North-South line from Texas to North Dakota.  Heartland "values" coming home to roost.

At the hospital where I work, management surveyed employees and 70% of those who responded are willing to take the COVID vaccine at some point in time. Based on the number of doses my hospital has received, all 70% could be vaccinated if they wished. They are planning to start vaccinations next week, I requested to be in the first round, and I will be getting one as soon as possible. The second injection will be scheduled three weeks after the first.

There is no charge. The cost of a vaccination is less than the cost of having employees out sick, especially if they require hospitalization.
