Very expensive blue blood.  Limulus amebocyte lysate ain't cheap!  Gram-negative bacteria causes their blood to solidify into a sort of gel.  So medical products that come into contact with blood are tested on horseshoe crab blood first to make sure it's safe.  Otherwise, they have to test on rabbits, which is even more expensive and time consuming and really upsets animal rights groups.

Equating Leftists with Communists just shows how dishonest they are. And this has been my experience with Conservatives. They do not attempt to consider things from their opposition's perspective. They do not understand Liberals and they don't want to. You can find this pattern with every single issue the two sides disagree on. Conservatives do not understand the Pro-Choice stance.
