We mustn't question God.

2) They're praying for the wrong thing.
or
This life doesn't matter.

3) No one is innocent.

That's the Hebrew god, not God.

4) Science is often wrong.  Even science changes what it says when it's forced to admit that it's wrong.

Minds rotted by religion see no problem rationalizing away anything that contradicts the Bible - because, since the Bible is correct, anything that contradicts it MUST be wrong, even if you can't figure out why it's wrong.
