It's a serious question I've always wondered to myself. I guess if I could choose any powers that I wanted, the only one I would be interested in is having omnipresence. The ability to be everywhere and know what is always going on would give me an extreme, although unapparent (to others) advantage over everybody.
Of course this is all hypothetical, but we could probably have some fun with this. Hypothetically what powers would you want? Any powers you want that would give you whatever you want. Heh, now I have even more reason to understand why both religion and sci-fi movies have such a broad appeal.
I don't get what you mean by spiritual powers, but I would be happy with the ability to travel space quickly and without a suit. Likewise I would want to be able to breath in any environment and survive extreme heat and extreme cold so that I could explore everything the universe has to offer. Maybe see what the inside of a star looks like or find fossils deep under the ocean of a foreign planet, shit like that. If I encountered other civilized life, the ability to blend in with them would be amazing to.
Infact, I could live with just the last one... the ability to merge and blend in with any culture, both human and alien, and teleport to those culture's when ever I chose to.
Another power I would like is to make any one I encounter happy.
Meh.. The power to raise the dead I suppose.. Sounds REALLY profitable. Imagine how much you could charge for that service.
And don't give me your crap about the ethics and morality of selectively raising the dead.. Nobody has that ability anyway.
The ability to find lost wallets. :-D

Filled with cash and no ID? :)
Wait..what about lost purses? :-k
My super power would be the ability to strike people reasonable for about half an hour or so.
I'd like to be able to run at super speed
The ability to time travel to the recent past only.

I suppose if I had a '12th-level intellect' like Brainiac 5, I could figure out how to get most of the other things I might want.
To be born the most beautiful lesbian in the world.  To be immortal and be able to do whatever I want to by my will alone actually. It wouldn't be bad to live near Azure either. :-$ Don't tell anyone where that is! Solitary

It's in the lower regions, near the bottom of the...oh wait you said DON'T tell them...oops
but Solitary, you sound like you might become a god!
The great lesbo god of the west! Sounds like a soft-core 80's porno!

This is pretty much what I want. Absolute knowledge of the universe, with the answer to any question that can be asked. All I have to do is have the questioned posed to me or ask it myself and I will know. If not that, then instantaneous teleportation, a la
Jumper.

frosty, did you mean any 'supernatural mind power' with 'spirituality'?
Some people consider things like "remote viewing" or "telekinesis" as "spiritual" abilities so that's why I put the term there. Nothing else to it.
The ability to alter matter & energy at a whim. Think Dr. Manhattan.
Immortality.
Or more specifically to remain at age 21 forever.
Death is a real nuisance. There's so much in this world, this universe, that I want to explore and discover, and our lifetime is far too short!

lol, I'm 21 and I feel old. There has always been a close link suggested between why people believe in an afterlife and their desire to live forever. I would guess that if you could somehow alter the rapid multiplication of cells to slow it down, or even stop the process, then you would remain in the state that you were when the cells responsible for aging were halted.
That, and being able to resurrect people, would indeed be profitable ventures. But I'm too lazy and lack the knowledge to do so, so if it ever were to be possible to do such things I would imagine the people in charge of that stuff being very rich people.

Also this.
I agree with neo and drunk either to fly or teleport.
I just hate traffic, and I have spend a lot of my life waiting for busses and trains too.
I would prefer to fly, but the problem for me is that the human body looks kind of lame flying, I would prefer to fly in a sitting down position :-k . I think the reason why superman wears a cape to make the body look more graceful somehow while he is up in the air, I think I would use an armchair as a prop, I could sit and read too maybe, but then I would need some kind of a windshield.
None. I do not think they are going to find a way to make me a 20-year old in the time left for me. It is better to accept reality than to look for a Dr. Manhattan. By that time I will perhaps have a 20-year old grandson. That is good enough.
:-"
I'd love to be able to make people say what I want them to say. Then when there are politicians running for office, during a campaign speech I could make them say really offensive things about minorities, poor people, women, non-Christians, etc. to guarantee that nobody will vote for them. Or I could make homophobes admit they're gay. Or other fun stuff.
Create my own Earth and get to pick who I want to live on it..........
I would like to fly .
Telekinesis in general. Basically that would be like every super power. I could manipulate matter that way, so in theory, I would be able to be invisible, phase through walls, fly, shoot fire, freeze people like Sub-Zero. Mostly freeze people like Sub-Zero. Mortal Kombat is awesome.
Co-Location. Covers scrying, being in two+ places at once, teleportation, taking things from another place without being there, and much more. Mage 2nd edition had so many potential abuses for it! :D
I want to change my answer now.

Hydra, co-location covers that too. It is the space-time abusing power. I could co-locate someone's heart to the sun and laugh as they die with a potentially burned chest (if I allowed Sol's heat to spread beyond the heart).
