Now it's confirmed that what was measured is galactic dust, and not the primordial CMB B-mode polarization measurements (See: http://atheistforums.com/index.php?topic=4120.msg1014256#msg1014256 (http://atheistforums.com/index.php?topic=4120.msg1014256#msg1014256)) that would have confirmed Inflation theory, a crucial component of the Big Bang theory.
