I don't understand the "everything's still okay, no need to do anything at all" crowd. Has your personal life been directly effected? Maybe not, but is that what its going to take? Don't you realize that by the time your personal life is being effected it will be too late to do anything? How shortsighted can you possibly get?

The ACLU is suing the federal government over this. Since they are a Verizon customer they don't even have to represent someone else as they themselves have been damaged. I hope they do represent the young man who blew the whistle.
