The only horror movie that ever freaked me out was The Excorcist. I hated it. It didn't scare me, it just seemed to me to be in very bad taste.

I remember driving home alone on dirt roads through the fog-shrouded, swampy-woods after watching "The Shining" on the big screen.

My 17 yo sister and I went to see it. Halfway through she bailed. "I'll be in the lobby!"

When the movie was over I went to the lobby and found her, the only girl, with 5-6 young men who had also bailed.

Or maybe it was her? Nah.
